Knowledge and understanding - Knowledge and understanding of one’s own professional identity - Knowledge and understanding of one’s own autonomy of evaluation and intervention Ability to apply knowledge and understanding - Ability to tackle with the various professional profiles (physicians, psychologists, educators, etc.) involved in the helping process, keeping in mind the specificity of one’s own sphere of action, that of one’s own contribution and that of one’s own knowledge. Aims of the course are to provide students with the ability to recognize role and functions of the social worker both with respect to the organization in which the traineeship is taking place and to the external welfare net. Moreover, students will acquire intellectual instruments to gain knowledge from the observation and the critical reflexion of their own attitudes and behaviors.
