Knowledge and understanding
Module 1 - Educational planning in early childhood services.
1. Knowing and understanding the meaning and function of the design in early childhood education services, the different levels and the different theoretical-practical approaches related to educational planning in ECEC and in contexts involving young children and their families.
2. Understand what an educational project is, developing an adequate knowledge of the steps that characterize the design process as an essential tool for translating pedagogical models and theories into educational practices, starting with reading the needs and skills of children.
3. Knowing how to recognize and understand the different aspects and specific characteristics of design in early childhood education services.
Module 2 – Workshop.
Knowing and understanding how to design Early Childhood Education settings and activities through individual and group work.

Module 1 - Educational design in early childhood services
1. Develop reflective and assessment skills regarding the analysis of the aims and essential aspects of the design dimension that guarantee pedagogical and organizational quality in educational services.
2. Develop planning skills regarding the phases, tools and different levels that characterize educational planning in early childhood educational contexts.
Module 2 - Design and evaluation workshop of early childhood education practices.
Knowing how to formulate, build and analyze educational projects, starting from the recognition of educational planning as a circular process that constantly intertwines the plans of observation, documentation and evaluation.
