Learning outcomes
Roman History The course is aimed at improving the students skill in deeming the quality and the reliability of documents of Roman history by means of comparisons between different authors or between authors and other kinds of sources. Students will improve their communication skill by expressing their opinions or even their doubts concerning problems arising from the course, and receiving answers and directions on how to shape their discourses. Their learning skill will be improved by means of an interaction of studies in historical sources and iconographies. At the end of the course students should demonstrate that they understand the most important topics dealt with in the classes, that they are able to analyse critically both the sources and the iconographies related to the topics and to present their talk in a logical sequence, clearly and on the basis of documents.
