Learning outcomes

The course aims to introduce to the paradigms of reasoning with particular reference to multimedia communication field.
What are the logical rules which can guarantee the value of our speeches? What are the arguments which are able to persuade and make acceptable what we suggest? What are the peculiar characters of multimedia communication? These are the issues that the second part of the course deal with, even with concrete examples taken from the field of multimedia.

Examination Methods

Multiple-choice written examination, open-ended questions or an optional oral exam. Before the written or oral exam, the student must submit a written tutorial in which he will comment on two commercials, highlighting the argumentative logic and the use of multimedia tools.
