The course aims to introduce to the paradigms of reasoning with particular reference to multimedia communication field. What are the logical rules which can guarantee the value of our speeches? What are the arguments which are able to persuade and make acceptable what we suggest? What are the peculiar characters of multimedia communication? These are the issues that the second part of the course deal with, even with concrete examples taken from the field of multimedia.

MM: SEMIOTICA MULTIMEDIALE (M) I MODULO

This course offers a critical discussion of some of the properties involved by semiotic processes in human language, and aims at familiarizing the participants with some of the results stemming out research in linguistics, philosophy of mind and cognitive neuroscience.
