Learning outcomes
The applied ecology is based on the use of the principles of ecology related to the relationship between biotic factors (living organisms) and abiotic factors (environmental factors) to understand and deal with phenomena and problems that occur in the context of complex interactions in different contexts both natural and anthropic. The aim of the course is the understanding of the fundamentals and theories of ecology, to interpret and govern the articulated relationships that are the basis of the productivity of different ecosystems or to correctly face the imbalances generated by pollution and anthropic pressure. The course will provide an overview of the themes of applied ecology, proceeding from the individual organism to the dynamics of populations on a global level.
