Learning outcomes
The course aims to:
a) provide theoretical know about etiology, pathogenesis, pathophysiology, clinical diagnostics and prognosis of the main endocrine and metabolic diseases;
b) introduce the student to the use of the main clinical tools (history, physical examination), laboratory and diagnostic imaging needed to classification of the main endocrine and metabolic diseases;
c) bring to life a brief stint in contact with outpatients and inpatients suffering from endocrine and metabolic diseases.
Objectives of activity professionalizing
At the end of the course the student will:
a) knowledge of the etiology, pathogenesis, pathophysiology, clinical diagnostics and prognosis of the main endocrine and metabolic diseases;
b) be able to interpret laboratory data and instrumental (imaging, etc.). connected with the main endocrine and metabolic diseases;
c) be able to relate with patients suffering from these diseases, and highlight the elements of the medical history and specific objectives of the main endocrine and metabolic diseases.
