Learning outcomes

The main aim of this course is introducing the students to the issues related to the design and use of information systems. Some notions will be given to students, concerning some organizational and management aspects of information systems within complex organisations. In addition, security aspects will be considered by introducing social engineering.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to design and manage an information system. In particular, the student will be able to design and manage a decision support system and to design and analyse business processes. Moreover, the student will be able to understand system requirements and to communicate in a suitable way with stakeholders.
