Learning objectives

The course aims to systematically provide an overview of fundamental concepts and current technologies for the development of dynamic applications for the web. It also aims to provide the essential basic skills for the design and creation of simple applications and services for mobile devices (smartphones/tablets). At the end of the course, the student will have to: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the basic functioning of current web technologies and the characteristics of the main mobile platforms; Know how to apply the knowledge acquired in order to develop intermediate-level dynamic web applications and to design and develop simple applications and/or services for mobile devices; Be able to use current technology and/or the most suitable platform for the development of a web and/or mobile application; Knowing how to argue in a technical and precise way the design and development choices you decide to make; Be able to continue the studies independently or face the world of work also in the field of web and mobile application development.
