Learning outcomes
In the context of the evaluation and management of the critically ill patient, the patient with surgical pathology certainly has diagnostic peculiarities and therapeutic timing. The objective of the course is to provide the student with a description of the main emergency pathologies that may require surgical management, starting from epidemiology to deepen the clinical presentation pictures in the context of abdominal and thoracic pathologies. The "ideal" paths for achieving a correct diagnosis will also be described. The student will also be provided with elements of therapy.
