The program aims at analysing the family issue under a sociological meaning and looking at the medical care system. In this regard, it will be examined the following key-points: 1. the change of the family structure within the contemporary society. 2. Family patterns in the multicutural society; 3. Formal and informal networks of welfare; 4. Roles and identities in the family; 5. Care contexts and cultural diversity: practical strategy of caregivers/healthcare workers (the Calgary model of Family Nursing)
