Principles of anatomy and physiology of the central and peripheral nervous system, and aspects of semiotics.
Altered level of consciousness (obtundation, stupor, coma): clinical presentation, causes and monitoring.
Pathophysiology, presentation and treatment of the main neurological diseases causing disability:
- Ischemic and haemorrhagic stroke
- Parkinson's disease (also includes pharmacological therapy and complications of long-term treatment)
- Multiple sclerosis
- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
- Epilepsy
