Educational Goals
At the end of Year 1, with reference to the core activities, the student will acquire the following skills in several areas:
CARE AND REHABILITATION
Use observation procedures, evaluation to describe the posture and the spontaneous motor behavior of healthy and not, over the different chronological ages.
Identify real situation in any alteration of the different functional systems (vital functions, manipulation, walking ...)
Move the patient transferring from one position to another, safely and in compliance with the principles of ergonomics
Detect vital signs and identify signs of alteration
Carry on supervision and with indications of the tutor, a basic examination: physical examination, functional activity (gestures), passive movements, active movements, sensitivity, muscle tone and muscle length
Formulate hypotheses of functional alterations
Identify problems physiotherapy and list them in priority order with supervision
Apply the basic techniques of the year for the maintenance of the ROM and the development of muscle strength, documenting in advance of the presence of contraindications, proposing ways and times corresponding to the theoretical knowledge
PREVENTION
Acquire and apply the principles of hygiene and safety for the protection of the health of people assisted and professionals
Respect the rules of hygiene to prevent infections, during the required tasks on patients in the structure of training he attended.
THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION
knowing, observing, describing pedagogical strategies for effective teaching to the patient (to the caregiver, the family), based on the concept of motor learning and methods to motivate the patient to follow the exercise program with the guidance of a physiotherapist.
COMMUNICATION AND REPORT
Take an active attitude in the moments when the Physiotherapist Supervisor interacts with the patient, the caregiver and the team
Use communication techniques in active listening
Respect the patient's experience during the actual treatment
RESPONSIBILITY 'PROFESSIONAL
Assume an attitude consistent with ethical principles and confidentiality (code of ethics and privacy legislation) in language and actions
Act recognizing the limits of their knowledge and skills and respect the experience, expertise and the roles of others
Respect ideas, opinions and cultures
Achieve awareness for responsible management of the documentation relating to the patient and to their education (facilities and equipment is at the site of education that internship)
MANAGEMENT AND MANAGEMENT

Course content
CORE SKILLS TRAINING FOR THE FIRST YEAR
Tutorials tutorial group work, small group meetings and tutorials (during the whole academic year) Skill labs, reflection activities and development of clinical reasoning through the use oF folder physiotherapy teaching inspired the logic ICF
The student is an active and participatory student of the 1st year of the course that you test for

GUIDED TRAINING
A first experience of four weeks at the premises of clinical rehabilitative
A second experience of four weeks in the field of geriatric
A third experience of four weeks in the field of orthopedic
Tutorial activities of reworking / diebriefing, at the end of each experience.

adults or elderly patients with musculoskeletal problems in both inpatient and outpatient
