Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student must demonstrate that he / she is able to:
-Understand the patient pathway suffering from oncological disease and the importance of rehabilitation.
-Locate Professionals involved in oncology and understand the importance of a multidisciplinary approach for effective teamwork.
-Know The sequelae to rehabilitation according to type of cancer, surgical treatment, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormone therapeutic, immunotherapy.
-Locate Proper rehabilitative approach in patients with thoracic tumors, breast and in patients in the palliative phase.
-Know The pathophysiology, the guidelines and the rehabilitation treatment of lymphedema in oncology.

Program

-The patient pathway suffering from oncological disease:
surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormonal therapy, and biological therapy:
side effects and rehabilitative.
-The patient undergoing palliative:
signs, symptoms and rehabilitative.
-The rehabilitation of the patient with thoracic tumor.
-The patient suffering from breast cancer:
therapeutic and rehabilitation.
-Lymphedema in oncology:
pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation guidelines.

Examination Methods

To pass the exam, students must demonstrate that they have achieved all of the goals set out in this Didactic Dashboard.
The contents of the exam are relevant to the topics listed in the program.
The assessment method involves a written test with open and closed questions.
The assessment method provides a score attributed to each single question whose sum is expressed in a thirty-one vote.
The rate at the module is mandatory at 50%.
Examination mode will not vary according to the degree of frequency.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE
