Learning outcomes

The professional laboratory aims to enable the student to acquire the ability to analyze and complete the entire physiotherapy process in complex clinical cases requiring the activation of all the core skills required by the profession

Program

Starting with the presentation of "clinical case study" and / or "real patient video recording", proceed with:
-the knowledge of the elements of the pathology and their application on the case
-the search for what is unknown to the pathology and its peculiarities
-observation and evaluation of the patient, supported by what the literature refers to
-interpretation of data, definition of functional diagnosis, problems and objectives
-explain the timing and how to achieve the goals
-the explanation of the treatment, supported by what the literature refers to in relation to the person and his real needs, the context, the available resources and the explication of supportive / rehabilitative interventions to support, supplement or replace the physiotherapy treatment itself
-application of the treatment performed with the reasoned construction of the therapeutic exercise
-therapeutic education for the caregiver and / or the staff who welcomes the person in the Institutions
-valuation of the results and ability to reformulate the treatment and / or planning of the rehabilitation intervention
-patient management by researching, where necessary, interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration, and promoting the activation of what responds to the needs of the person
-the design and application of the whole physiotherapy process are related to the rehabilitative project of the person
