Learning outcomes
The course aims to present and deepen the different aspects related to the topic of organizations, both from the point of view of the theory of practice, in the light of the models developed in recent decades by the political and social research. The student will acquire the tools to understand the elements that characterize the health care organization and recognize the typical processes, from a socio-cultural perspective, related to job placements in social and health fields.
Program
The course introduces specif concepts related to the theory of organization (status, role, institution, corporation, group, bureaucracy) connected to the module's content and then it analyzes the elements and variables that are connected with the organization (structure, culture, power, environment) and methods of learning within the organization. The final part of the course will be dedicated to the positive/negative aspects of the job market in the global era.
