Learning outcomes

To give the student the tools to implement a proper physiotherapy assessment procedure, from history to the function diagnostics and choice of appropriate outcome measures for specific musculoskeletal disorder.

Program

Definition of assessment procedures in physiotherapy.
Definition of assessment procedures medical history: correct and proper investigation of the patient's health profile according to ICF biopsychosocial model
clinical reasoning in defining the diagnostic hypotheses
diagnostic tools chosen on the basis of the psicometric knowledge of the different measurement scales
Selection of outcome assessment tools based on the psicometric knowledge of measurement scales (instructions on using the Rehabmed database for the critical choice of the most suitable measuring instruments)
Assessment procedures implemented on a particular district: model of reasoning on the knee
