Program

1. Radiation, electromagnetic radiation, ionizing radiation. 2. X-rays and ɣ, interaction with matter and biological effects. 3. Dosimetry, natural and artificial radiation. 4. Radiation protection, organizations and professionals involved. 5. Radiation protection of the patient, basic principles. 6. Ionizing radiation and pregnancy. 7. Radiation protection of the public and workers. 8. Ultrasounds: physics, applications, biological effects. 9. Magnetic fields and radio waves: physical principles, biological effects, applications, safety standards. 10. Laser beams: physics, applications, biological effects.
