Learning outcomes
Get to know the main differences between different rheumathisms.
Know how to differentiate patients with specific rheumatisms so that they can be treated with a specific physiotherapic treatment
Get to know and know how to differentiate patients with low back pain, knowing how to distinguish inflammatory back pain
Helping , telling apart specific symptoms, by sending patients to the rheumatologist.
Contributing to the patient's education.
Program
-General concepts of Rheumatology. Differentiation between various rheumatic forms; clinical-diagnostic leaning, pathogenetic's and therapeutic's hints. Focus on symptoms. Disease's and damage's evaluation.
-Rheumatoid Arthritis: what the physioterapist must know.
-Spondyloarthritis: what the physioterapist must know. Learn about inflammatory back pain. clinical example: ankilosing spondyloarthritis and axial non radiographic spondyloarhritis. How the physiotherapist must manage the disease.
-Osteoarthritis. Focus on main risk factors, clinical and physioterapical approaches.
- Fibromyalgie and extra articular non inflammatory rheumatisms.
- PW's summary and discussion of the main topics.
