Program
To achieve the training objectives, the course will deal with the following topics:
• "Liquid" modernity and the challenges for society and the individual: diversity and complexity
• The study of the family: from the contribution of the classics to current perspectives
• Aspects of the family: structures, roles, functions
• The transformations of the family: life cycle and relations with the outside world
• Family and disability: caregivers between resources and problems
• Stigmatization and social relations
• Family, networks and the relationship with professionals.

Didactic methods
The didactic methods adopted consist of:
- lectures, dedicated to the transmission of basic notions and key categories, useful for the implementation of theoretical knowledge;
- interactive lessons, through the analysis of videos and illustrative materials, common discussion, group work and exercises and, where possible, the intervention of privileged witnesses, in order to improve learning, applied understanding, working skills in team, for relationships and communication.
Learning assessment procedures
Assessment of learning outcomes is the same for everyone.
It is a written test consisting of 15 multiple choice tests and 1 open question.
The test has a total duration of 25 minutes (15 minutes for the test and 10 minutes for the open questions)
Evaluation criteria
The final evaluation is expressed in 30/30 and will take into consideration:
- the degree of knowledge of the topics studied (test)
- the ability to discursively organize knowledge e
- critical reasoning skills (open question)
