EDUCATIONAL GOALS
The course requires the students to achieve the following educational goals:
- acquire the basic methodological approach to the scientific study of human physiology
- understand the basic principles of cellular physiology
- understand the basic physiological principles governing the general function of the human body
- understand the basic neurophysiological principles governing the functioning of a sensory system
- understand the basic neurophysiological principles governing the functioning of a motor system
- understand the basic physiological principles governing the functioning of an organ system (e.g., the respiratory system)
