Didactic methods
The classroom meetings include frontal lessons with the use of slides and short exercises, in order to help the student in learning some topics of clinical psychology applied to the healthcare context, as well as in managing the relationship with the patient and communicating effectively with patients/family members/ Colleagues. The teacher will provide the student with the material presented in class, which also constitutes the teaching material on which to prepare for the exam.
Learning assessment procedures
To access the exam it is necessary to have attended the frontal lessons in the percentage foreseen by the Degree Course. The objective of the exam is to verify the level of achievement of the previously indicated training objectives. The exam consists of a written test lasting 1 hour with 40 closed questions (multiple choice among 3 alternatives of which only one is correct) and an open question relating to the topics presented in class. The study material (slide) will be provided to students at the end of each lesson via the teaching Moodle space.
Evaluation criteria
The exam aims to assess the student's level of knowledge and understanding of the topics covered in class, as well as their application (e.g. communication techniques). The vote is expressed in thirtieths. There are no deductions in points for incorrect answers. The mark obtained in the Clinical Psychology module will contribute to the final score of the entire teaching (average of the scores obtained in the tests of the four modules).
