Learning outcomes
Provide students with the knowledge of the main and most frequent ENT pathologies affecting children.
Program
Acute and chronic inflammation of the middle ear: ear infections, chronic otitis media, cholesteatoma and complications.
Acute and chronic inflammation of the nose and paranasal sinuses and complications.
Tonsillitis and nasopharyngitis, adenoid syndrome, tubal insufficiency, pediatric OSAS,
Articulation troubles (organic, evolutionary, and mechanical dyslalias).
Malformations and inflammations of the larynx: catarrhal laryngitis, hypoglottic laryngitis, stridular laryngitis, epiglottitis laryngomalacia, arytenoid cleft.

Examination Methods
The exam consists of a written test based on open-ended questions. In response questions, it is required the ability to match the synthesis and clarity.
Each of the open questions is evaluated from 0 to 10 points, according to:
a) relevance of the answer
b) ability to synthesize
c) properties of language
