Learning objectives
For 1st year students, two observational training experiences are planned in nursery schools and nursery schools, normal physiological aspects in the cognitive and communicative development of the child from 0 to 5 years. The purpose of this experience is to bring students, through the knowledge and observation of healthy children, to have adequate reference schemes, in particular with regard to: - psychomotor evolutionary and communicative stages (walking, verbal, communication, socialization, motor skills, etc.); - detection of children's developmental times, considered in a normal range for the child population; - observation and direct knowledge of institutions.

adequate theoretical skills acquired in the classroom and through study
Program
for the nursery experience, the student must be able to acquire adequate observational skills with respect to all areas of development of the normotypical child. for the kindergarten experience, the student must be able to identify when the child deviates from normal development and know how to draw up a functional profile for all areas of development, with the relative planning of strengthening activities
Didactic methods
experience directly within the school structures and constant comparison with the internship guides and university tutors
Learning assessment procedures
practical/written exam with the observation of a video and relative written elaboration + oral exam concerning the basic theoretical notions acquired during the 1st year, discussion of the practical exam paper and of the report prepared during the internship
Evaluation criteria
-adequate observation skills and description of skills (of the video) -adequate comparison between theory and observed case (in the video) -correct use of terminology -adequate IPA phonetic transcription -ability of reflection and critical analysis
