Provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for understanding diagnostic and therapeutic ENT procedures. At the lessons' conclusion, students will acquire both pathophysiological and clinical basic knowledge of ENT diseases and rudiments of ENT methodology and therapy, especially concerning diseases of urgency. Finally, students will be experienced in the main daily surgical ENT procedures.

Concept of euphony and dysphonia The physiology of the vocal tract Posture and voice The management of cost-diaphragmatic breathing The classification of dysphonia: congenital, acquired, organic and disfunctional dysphonia Congenital dysphonia: laryngomalacia, congenital glottic diafragm cri du chat, laryngeal papillomatosis in childhood, vergeture and sulcus, epidermoid cysts Acquired dysphonia. Organic: laryngitis, nodules, polyps, ritentional cysts, laringocele, submucosal hemorragy, laryngeal paralysis and neurological trouble. The cancer of the larynx: voice and swallowing rehabilitation after partial and total laryngectomy. Acquired dysphonia.
