Learning objectives
Training objectives: The professional laboratory is aimed at providing the fundamental preventive biomedical and hygienic knowledge, the principles of professional discipline as requirements to deal with the first experience of internship, directed to the acquisition of basic skills and the orientation of the student to the professional areas of reference related to the maintenance of the health of oral tissues and the prevention of inflammatory pathologies at the expense of the periodontin. The course aims to provide the student with the basic techniques for the management of the dental assembly and the operational session, using personalized relationship methods with the patient. The course also aims to provide methodologies for the care of the oral cavity in the patient who is not self-sufficient and/or carrying mobile prosthesis.
Program
Infection prevention techniques in dentistry;
Preparation of the dental unit for the operative session;
Patient motivation and education to maintain proper plaque control;
The care of the oral cavity and of the removable prostheses in the non self-sufficient patient;
