Learning outcomes
The course has the main objective to develop a "way of thinking" in the student where healthcare and related activities are not considered merely as a technical contribution but as an activity involved in the social context. It provides te student with bioethical, ethical and deontological competences necessary to face the multi-faceted aspects of the profession.

Bioethics: general concepts
- Professional secrecy: bioethylcal, deontological and legal aspects; justified disclosure of the professional secrecy
- information to the citizen/patient/client and informet consent to data treatment and therapeutical treatment
- collection of biological samples and chain of custody: technical, ethical, deontological and legal aspects
- clinical trials: normative, ethical and legal aspects
- professional responsibility for the laboratory technician
