AIMS AND FEATURES:

The aim of the course is to analyse the themes related to pedagogical education in the time of pluralism and complexity. Pedagogy plays a crucial role in facing many of the current crisis and conflicts. In particular, the course aims at identifying the most suitable pedagogical approaches, and at clarifying the most effective and efficient intervention opportunities. The course deals with the most recent developments in the field of intercultural pedagogy, and it provides the opportunity to reflect on the training opportunities and methods in relation to the globalisation and the global interdependence.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:

The course aims at acquiring theoretical knowledge about intercultural pedagogy and, moreover, at providing intercultural competences in order to create and apply educational projects in a complex society. The course pays particular attention to the building of these competences in terms of understanding the skills and the attitudes, experiencing a number of intercultural methods, cooperative learning, coaching, etc.
- Knowledge: pedagogy and intercultural competences funding concepts; competences assessing methods and their limits.
- Understanding: intercultural pedagogy role, intercultural pedagogy importance in the various life and educational contexts of intervention.
- Application skills: the course provides intercultural competences aimed at identifying and managing conflicts and at seizing the opportunities in a complex, interdependent, and multicultural society.

Stage e Tirocini

  • tirocinio indiretto (1 cfu: 25 ore di frequenza obbligatoria in università per il 75%) in preparazione dell’attività formativa sul campo;
