Learning outcomes
Alla fine dell’insegnamento di Medicina del lavoro lo studente sarà in grado di analizzare i principali fattori di rischio presenti nei contesti lavorativi, con particolare approfondimento di quelli presenti nell’ambito sanitario, allo scopo di mettere in atto le adeguate misure di comportamento e di prevenzione.
L’insegnamento di Igiene si propone di sviluppare la comprensione dell’epidemiologia delle malattie infettive e cronico degenerative e di valutare il ruolo dell’ambiente e degli stili di vita sulla salute umana.
L’infermieristica preventiva e di comunità introduce lo studente alla metodologia del nursing di comunità; si propone, inoltre, di sviluppare conoscenze e metodi per l’esercizio di competenze educative nei confronti degli utenti e delle loro famiglie in contesti ospedalieri e territoriali.
Program
• L’epidemiologia delle malattie infettive e non infettive in Italia (profilo epidemiologico temporale, distribuzione spaziale, fattori di rischio e di protezione).
• I modelli di trasmissione delle malattie infettive e parassitarie (sorgenti di infezione, modelli di trasmissione degli agenti patogeni, patogenicità e virulenza, trasmissibilità, condizioni dell’ospite).
• Le misure di prevenzione delle malattie infettive (accertamento diagnostico, notifica, indagine epidemiologica, isolamento, disinfezione e disinfestazione; vaccino profilassi e sieroprofilassi).
• L’epidemiologia e gli interventi di prevenzione delle infezioni nosocomiali (con particolare approfondimento delle infezioni delle vie urinarie, della ferita chirurgica e dell’apparato respiratorio).
• I concetti di base dell’epidemiologia e della prevenzione delle malattie cronico-degenerative: cardiopatia ischemica, diabete mellito e tumori; prevenzione primaria (fattori di rischio), secondaria (test di screening) e terziaria.
• Analisi dei danni alla salute da errato stile di vita (fumo di tabacco, alimentazione e salute, abuso di alcool).
• Gli elementi essenziali dell’igiene ambientale (inquinamento atmosferico, microclima e rischi d’inquinamento negli ambienti ospedalieri; smaltimento dei rifiuti ospedalieri).
