Learning objectives

GENERAL LEARNING OBJECTIVES. *To know and understand the psychobiological and neuropsychological bases of behaviours, in particular in learning contexts. *To apply the psychological theories to the functioning of individuals, groups, and organisation in order to observe and analyse behaviours, and in particular phenomena concerning learning and personal and social changes. SPECIFIC LEARNING OBJECTIVES. *To provide the theoretical and methodological framework necessary to understand the neurobiological correlates of human behavior and cognitive functions. *To provide the tools to evaluate and analyze the functional changes in the individual, through the study of the main techniques and methods to investigate the neuronal activity (EEG, fMRI and TMS) and human behavior. *Acquire the ability to link the main biological and neuronal mechanisms to the functional and adaptation processes of the individual to the physical and social environment.

Didactic methods

Lessons will take place mainly in frontal mode with moments of discussion and brainstorming in plenary and small groups.

Learning assessment procedures

Assessment of learning will take place through a written multiple-choice test.
Students are asked to demonstrate to understand the relevant elements that underpin theory and intervention in clinical psychology.
Students are strongly recommended to study the material provided by the teacher during the lessons and also available on e-learning pages.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The test consists of 31 questions, one point is assigned for each correct answer question and 0 points for wrong ones. The exam is considered passed with a minimum score of 18/30.
