Learning assessment procedures

The exam is oral. Verifies the state of maturation of knowledge according to five criteria-objectives (see infra). Questions will be asked about the notions and contents of the assigned texts and lessons. You will be asked to carry out short application exercises.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The exams verify the state of maturation of knowledge according to five criteria-objectives. 1. The notions 2. The skills 3. The critical-argumentative attention 4. The ability to express oneself correctly and effectively 5. The independence in the study Questions will be asked about the notions and will be asked to carry out some practical exercises. In an introductory exam with a substantial theoretical part such as linguistics and computer science, the acquisition of contents (the notions) is certainly privileged. The exercises develop and verify skills, as they require the application of concepts, albeit in a controlled and supervised environment. During the interview, the commission will also consider the attention paid to the argument and to any critical observations, as well as to links between the parts of the course and to notions from other courses. Particular care is required towards the so-called property of language, taking care of the lexical choice in order to favor the technical terms of the discipline, the conciseness of the answers and their pertinence and adherence to the question. The commission also considers, albeit subordinately, the degree of independence in the study that the candidate will be able to show.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

The final interview has an evaluation expressed in thirties.
