Learning objectives
The course provides the basic knowledge necessary to manage projects.
The objectives of the course are as follows: to develop awareness of the importance of Project Management for any type of project, to acquire the basic tools and methodologies to manage projects and to develop concepts for project communication.
With the work-shops offered, the student will have the opportunity to experiment and acquire an active knowledge of the subject, in particular the lessons will alternate exposure of methodological elements and their practical application in teams. Particular importance will be given to the team's work-shops and to the sharing of the results achieved, their applicability and points of improvement, also learning basic behavioral elements such as team building and communication. Some project management software will be integrated into the teaching. At the end of the lessons the student will be able to apply both the methodology proposed by the Project Management Institute, PMI (http://www.pmi.org), and Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, trying to highlight their integration as much as possible.

The information, people and relationships of the initial phase of the Project. The processes of:
- Project start
- planning
- execution
- monitoring and control
- closure.
Project management tools.
Didactic methods
The course includes theory lessons and practical exercises.
Learning assessment procedures
1. Theoretical written test: multiple choice questions.
The written test will be based on the documentation provided by the teachers.
2. Practical test: presentation of a project developed in a team.
Evaluation criteria
1. knowledge of the theoretical foundations;
2. presentation of the planning and progress of a project;
3. ability to communicate the project.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
Written test: max 20/30
Presentation: max 10/30
