Learning objectives
The course aims to introduce the principles concerning the structure and functioning of industrial plants, the organization and management of production processes, regardless of the particular technological process. At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the main notions of organization and management of the transformation process from raw material to the finished product, system reliability, human resource management, industrial automation, production flows and layout, measurement of plant performance. He will also be able to industrialize a production process, from the feasibility study to the automation design and the performance monitoring. The student will also be able to assess the impact of strategic decisions and planning on the performance of industrial plants. In addition, the student will have the necessary knowledge to continue his studies independently in the field of industrial computer engineering.
