Learning outcomes

The objectives of the Course are:
Introduction to Radiation Physics, Radiobiology and Radiation Protection.
Knowledge of the various types of electromagnetic and corpuscular radiation and the mechanisms of biological damage. Techniques for calculating the delivered and absorbed dose.

Program

Educational Program:
X-ray physics: production of X-Rays
Introduction to nuclear physics: atomic structure, Nuclides, decay. radioactivity. Dosimetry
Radiobiology: Unit of radiation Units, Radiation Effect. Risks in Humans. Environmental radiation.
