Program
The student must perceive and acquire the different methods of communication between Gynecological patients (similar to other medical/surgical Disciplines), Physiological Obstetrics (difficulty in dealing with absolutely healthy subjects but in a particular moment of life), Pathological Obstetrics (which combines communication difficulties of the "pathological" with those of the "healthy involved in a peculiar moment of existence" such as gestation). Know what a clinical problem looks like (Ostetrics-Gynecological Outpatient Clinic and Emergency Department), participate in cervical cancer screening (personally perform at least one pap smear). Follow the evolution of the case observed from the outset in the clinic/emergency room in the ward/operating theatre/delivery room. Perceive the difficulties of management of the delivery room and personally witness physiological deliveries. Acquire knowledge of the main technical steps of the most frequent diagnostic (ultrasound, hysteroscopy) or therapeutic (episiotomy, laparoscopy, hysterectomy, cesarean section) interventions facilitated by direct experience and guided by explanations/comments from the operator/tutor

Learning assessment procedures
1. Oral presentation of a clinical case observed during the clinical training, with additional more detailed analysis with the examiner, when required
2. Test to check what learnt during the clinical training
3. Test of knowledge of surgical techniques observed during clinical training including the labor and delivery care
Evaluation criteria
The Student will always take the exam individually and not in pairs The Student will always be examined by at least two Commissioners, one of which is the Course Coordinator The mark is not the arithmetic mean of the individual teacher's judgments but weighted by them The Student will be given the possibility, if the exam has highlighted an inadequate preparation to obtain a high score, to withdraw.
