Learning outcomes

The course aims at providing a basic knowledge of Chinese phonetics, writing, and of the fundamental structures of Chinese grammar. Laying the foundations for learning spoken and written Chinese. Enable students to achieve an autonmous use of the basic syntactic structures.

Program

Textbook: Abbiati Magda; Zhang Ruoying. Dialogare in cinese, vol I.
Principles of phonetics, writing and syntax followed by exercises. Sentence patterns, predicates, particles, noun determination, verb determination, and some kinds of complements. Basic communicative functions and elementary vocabulary.

Examination Methods

Written test, listening and conversation based on the content of the course.
