Learning outcomes

The course aims at highlighting the theoretical bases of the various cognitive abilities and to explain the mechanisms by which humans adapt and react to the external environment.

The course will address the following topics: history of psychology, methods of investigation, sensation and perception, attention, awareness, learning, memory, emotions, motivation, language and thinking, intelligence
