Learning outcomes

At the end of the course students should have gained a deep knowledge of of the italian literature of the 20th century. They also should be able to analyze and comment literary texts using critical and stylistic skills.

Students are required to use correctly the Italian language.

Leopardi's Canti and italian poetry of the 20th century

– the texts by Pascoli, Michelstaedter, Saba, Campana, Sbarbaro, Ungaretti and Montale that made available during the lessons
– critical readings pointed out during the lessons

Examination Methods

Oral exam about all the parts of the course. The examination aims at evaluating the student's knowledge and skills, with special reference to the texts read during the lessons.

Erasmus students will be informed during the lessons about the oral examination.
