The aim of the course is to go deep in the essential problems of medieval history

gain an understanding of the methods for the study of an important historical issue, through the use of documentary sources and contextualisation of the views expressed by historians

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of the italian and european medievale history

Contents of course: Analysis and discussion of a lot of political, economic, religious, social and cultural questions (approximately distributed on 18 lessons)


Module: II MODULO PARTE (P)

Prerequisites: have taken and passed an examination of introductory Medieval History

Contents of course: Analysis and discussion of a range of issues (roughly corresponding to 18 days of lessons)concerning the main aspects of the history of Italian cities between the twelfth and fifteenth centuries
