Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with the historical skills to frame and contextualize the cultural phenomena they face in the other courses of their Degree Courses, that is to say the basic knowledge of the events and processes of transformation of political, social, economic and cultural structures from the beginning of the 20th century to today. At the end of the course students will develop the ability to critically analyze historical processes and socio-cultural transformations of the contemporary age and will be able to reason in a diachronic way, placing events in their different temporalities.

Requirements in advance: Good knowledge of Italian language (reading). Elementary knowledge of Early Modern European History
Course description:
The course deals with the period between the Great War and the present day and analyzes national and international processes of formation of the contemporary world
