Learning outcomes

The course will extend the knowledge in immunology field with a specific focus on the clinical applications of recent immunological discoveries in cancer immunotherapy field and other pathologies, such as cytokine storm syndromes.

Immune response regulation
Innate and adaptive immunity
Cytokines
The immune system in pathology
Cancer Immunesurveillance and immunoediting
Cancer immunotherapy
Immunotherapy in cytokine storm syndrome.
New high-throughput available technologies for the identification of mechanisms of immune response activation, dysfunction in pathology.

Lesson attendance-based eligibility
The lessons are addressed to students enrolled in the 4th, 5th, 6th academic year.
