Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with knowledge and methods to develop relational skills declined in professional and help relationships and in educational relationships. It introduces the student to a global vision of the psychological development of the person in the complexity, of the factors that interact and understanding. of the needs expressed in the request for help, taking into account the stages of development of life and the events that can cross it (illness, mourning, chronicity ..); it also proposes a deepening of the psychological implications of development and illness. It introduces the founding principles of the care relationship, the techniques and strategies for the management of effective communication with the person and the family. THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION the module introduces the student to a global vision of the psychological development of the individual in the complexity, of the factors that interact and to the understanding of the needs expressed in the request for help, taking into account the development phases of life, capacities of the adaptation required in the various evolutionary stages; it also introduces the founding principles of the care relationship, the techniques and strategies for managing effective communication. PRINCIPLES AND TECHNIQUES OF CARING RELATIONSHIP Know and apply the principles and basic techniques of the care relationship to communicate effectively with patients and ensure that the patient can describe his problem and the professional listen, enough to grasp the meaning of what the patient says, as well as knowing how to protect himself from excessive involvement with the patient. CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY The aim of the module is to provide the theoretical and methodological tools that allow to build and maintain a profitable therapeutic relationship with the patient and family members in the context of care. The acquisition of these skills will enable the undergraduate to increase adherence to therapies, patient satisfaction and quality of life. Specifically, the educational objectives include the acquisition of systematic and up-to-date knowledge on biopsychosociological, cognitive and emotional processes; the acquisition of systematic and updated knowledge on communication and relational techniques in health care; adequate knowledge of methods and tools of investigation in psychology; interdisciplinary knowledge useful for completing training in the context of care relationships; and acquisition of the ability to find the sources necessary to develop effective intervention methods and the ability to critically analyze clinical interventions
Prerequisites and basic notions
The contents are linked to the general nursing module of the first semester of the 1st year, in particular the following prerequisites are defined: The concept of illness, illness and disease, the trajectory of the chronic disease and the emotional and social impact on the person and family. The body in the experience of health and illness. The theoretical foundations of caring, the essential principles of nursing caring: centrality of the patient and family, presence, vigilance/surveillance, comfort, self-care, self-determination, continuity of care, intimacy and touch, confidentiality in patient care. This teaching also integrates with the planned Med/45 Professional Laboratories.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade
Final grade in thirtieths (weighted average with respect to the CFU of the individual modules) Exam in Italian language Grade in 30ths resulting from the weighted average (weight in CFU) of the grade of the individual modules Exam method - Written exam and in Italian - Integrated exam for the three modules - Exam carried out in person - Pre-registration required via Esse 3 - At the discretion of the teachers, accepting non-registered students - It is necessary to pass at least 2 parts - Preservation of grade (for the next two exams) if at least 2 parts have been passed - Request adaptation of the exam tests: you must send an email, with all the necessary information, to inclusion@ateneo.univr.it, at least 20 days before the date set for the exam. If you intend to request the subdivision of the test into several parts, you must also send a prior email at the beginning of the course lessons (and in any case after a maximum of 30 days from the first lesson). - Total time 3 hours and 30 minutes - Principles and techniques of the healthcare relationship: 1 hour and 15 minutes - Clinical psychology: 1 hour and 15 minutes - Therapeutic education: 1 hour - Type of questions: - Closed multiple choice questions - open-ended questions short - open questions - clinical cases Evaluation criteria - The level of knowledge and application of the contents covered in the classroom to clinical cases has been assessed. - Rating on scale in 30mi - Minimum score of 18 out of 32 points available. - Closed multiple choice questions = 0.5 pt - Closed multiple choice questions (2 correct answers) = 1 pt - Open short answer questions = 1 point - Open questions = 3-5 pts depending on the taxonomy (knowledge, application , analysis, reflection) - 3 working days from the publication of the results to refuse the grade - Request to view the exam to be sent via university email to the individual teacher
