Learning objectives
The purpose of the course is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of legal regulations and principles applicable to the logistics sector. Students will acquire the ability to interpret and apply laws in logistics, including transport, customs, and contractual regulations. They will be capable of analyzing and resolving specific legal issues related to supply chain management, insurance, and liability. The objective is to develop critical awareness of legal implications in logistics and promote the capacity to assess legal consequences of business decisions, even in an international context. By the end of the course, students should demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of transportation law, focusing on contractual instruments, both typical and atypical, used in the current context

1. Transport (and logistics) law: definition and sources 2. Contracts for the use of means of transport (rental, loan for use, rental, leasing) 3. The transport contract (in particular, the transport of goods) 4. Didactic methods
Teaching is mainly through frontal teaching, provides interaction with different teaching methods (discussions, case proposals) and is supported by a Moodle platform. These activities will be fully accessible to all students. The material to be prepared consists of all the material present in the e-learning area as well as the reference book.
Learning assessment procedures
The oral exam consists in verifying the knowledge of the contents of the study material
Evaluation criteria
The evaluation criteria will be: competence in the use of technical vocabulary, ability to identify logical and sustainable resolution paths, ability to select appropriate legal instruments and evaluate their concrete application.
