Learning objectives

The laboratory allows the student to experience himself/herself in a protected setting also from an emotional point of view, with the aim of ensuring the safety of the student and the user, make the student acquire technical-practical and relational skills. Considered indispensable in the first year are: - Skills related to standard ICA prevention measures: hand hygiene with soap and water and alcohol rub, dressing and undressing, use and choice of PPE; - Communication, interview and user interview techniques; - Case analysis for simulated motivational interviewing

Prerequisites and basic notions

Knowledge relating to the teachings MOTIVATION AND CHANGE IN HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, THE EDUCATIONAL RELATIONSHIP, PROMOTION OF SAFETY IN HEALTH CARE CONTEXTS AND PREVENTION MEASURES.

Program

Apply verbal and non-verbal relationship techniques. Identify the elements of a motivational interview through video. Starting from a situation/case, apply counseling skills. Adopt standard measures: hand hygiene, selecting and donning/removing gloves, PPE, donning/doffing.

Didactic methods

Role Playing, guided video analysis, small group simulations of motivational interviews. Direct execution of practical and/or technical activities by the learners.

Learning assessment procedures

At the end of the course year, the teacher will formulate an "approved" rating on the exam report, taking into account the student's regular and certified attendance (100%) at the laboratories with any compensation for absences and any gaps in individual skills.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE
