Meaning of physical activity/movement/training/physical conditioning; WHO recommended levels of physical activity; ACSM guidelines & FITT principles; Pathophysiological effects of sedentary lifestyle and scientific evidence; Effects of physical exercise on physiological and pathophysiological processes; Effects of physical exercise on the cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic and osteoarticular systems; Movement and exercise at different stages of life; Movement and physical exercise for cornic pathologies; Environment and physical activity; Promotion and prescription of physical activity.

Theoretical lessons in the classroom with bibliographic references from guidelines, recommendations for prescriptions, recent scientific literature.

Written exam with open questions.
Evaluation criteria
The final grade will be determined by the evaluation of the written test which will aim to verify the student's knowledge on the basis of guidelines for the practice of physical activity for different populations, the effects of a sedentary lifestyle and an active lifestyle.
