Learning outcomes
The course aims at providing basic knowledge for understanding and reading of the terrestrial landscape and for the use of cartography
Program
- identify different types of natural and anthropogenic landscape
- to analyze the relationship between man and environment, population-resources
- to define the concepts of risk, development, underdevelopment, sustainable development
- to check the distribution of population
- to consider the organization of rural areas, the spatial structure of industry, urban areas
- to introduce the history and methods of cartography
- the complexity and the evolution of human geography
