Learning objectives
The course main purpose is to introduce to the knowledge of the most important pictorial technique used in the Middle Ages and Modern times, as well as the various literary sources and bibliography of this topic. At the end of the course the student should prove to be conscious of the operational and material peculiarities of the different techniques and should also be able to critically think over the various cases presented during the lessons.
