Program

A - Elements of epistemology of motor sciences
Definitions of the main concepts of kinesiology;
Movement in the experience of the human being;
The evolutionary role of human movement: the praxic, adaptive, expressive and preventive “functions”;
Characteristics and role of play, in particular motor play, in the existence of the human being; play and its relationship with creativity (motor, cognitive, relational, artistic);
Interdependence between motor skills, cognition, emotions and relational dynamics;
Criteria for the analysis and classification of movement, motor activities, motor skills and abilities;
Introductory elements to motor learning. The stages of motor learning.
Elements for the evaluation of human movement:
The internal phases of the evaluation;
Criteria for the validity of the measures;
Basic tools for the measurement of human movement and motor behavior;
Criteria for the evaluation (observation, measurement and interpretation) of human movement.
B – Elements for understanding the current socialized forms of movement
The historical evolution of the “cultural forms” of movement;

Analysis of external forms, internal forms;

General structure of synarthroses and diarthroses with examples relating to the main mobile joints and the spinal column;

Didactic methods

The theoretical part of the course will be presented with theoretical illustrations, case examples, with the request for re-elaboration by students.
The internship exercises will take place in a practical and theoretical form. The contents will be proposed using verbal illustration, demonstration, examples and extensive practical exercises.

Learning assessment procedures

The aim of the final evaluation of the course is to ascertain the knowledge of the program topics and the ability to apply them to situations and examples different from those proposed in the course. The final assessment of the learning outcomes includes:
1. Verification of attendance (70%) and measurement of the level of mastery of the internship exercises. Mastery must be understood as operational knowledge of the principles and rules of the various activities and the ability to perform the main motor patterns according to one's motor skills.
2. Written exam, with multiple choice and open questions, relating to the topics of the theoretical modules.
3. All the assessments will contribute to the definition of the final evaluation through the weighted average of the marks expressed out of thirty.
4. In the exam sessions following the winter one, the written tests will be replaced by an oral interview with the same objectives and topics

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The final grade expressed out of thirty, will take into account any evaluation of 30 with honors of the individual tests, attributing a score of 31 to them.
