The course is conceived as an introduction to logic and philosophy of science,
with the presentation of the most important philosophical problems connected to the development of the scientific method.

(a) Discovery and explanation.
(b) Trends: Positivism, conventionalism, logic empiricism, fallibilism, operationism, theory of scientific revolutions.
