Learning outcomes
The course aims to give to the students of the philosophy course an overview of the epistemological approaches followed by sociology, in order to allow a clear view of the differences and similarities between sociology and the other scientific areas . One of these cognitive approaches will then be discussed in depth so as to allow a working knowledge. We will try to encourage the autonomy of judgment, understanding, self-reflection and student learning skills.
Program
The course aims to provide an overview of cognitive approaches that support and articulate the knowledge of the social reality from the perspective of sociology.
It will then be analyzed and developed, in particular, the constructivist theory.
